There are many remedies for gum disease that really work, and if you follow them before you develop the condition, then you will find protecting your oral health a cinch. Many people do not pay enough attention to their oral health.

They let their brushing, flossing or rinsing routine slide every now and again or smoke or eat a diet that is far too high in sugar.

  • Tea tree oil is a powerful antibacterial and antiseptic that is now available in many natural dental products.

  • Cranberry juice is very effective at reducing plaque and killing bacteria in the mouth.

  • Getting enough nutrients is essential for good overall health so if your diet is not ideal, then you should consider taking a supplement. Vitamins C, D and E are considered to be very important for building strong, healthy gums.

General Health Affects Your Gums

Your general health can influence your gum health too. If you are not living a healthy lifestyle, then chances are that your oral health will begin to suffer. Additionally, if you have another medical condition, your gum health may be affected.
